Participation procedure
Requirements for a tourist visa

DESTINATION CITY: In Britain , students live in a chosen city and excursions are organised to other cites such as: London , Oxford , Brighton , Canterbury , Folkestone, Cambridge .

In the USA , several destinations are possible: Florida , California , New York , Minnesota …

ACTIVITIES: Excursions, English lessons, Tourism, Leisure, Discovery, Games, Guided Visits, Sports…

DURATION: 2, 3, 4+ weeks (parents decide) DEPARTURE: Usually mid-July. Other times on request.

ACCOMMODATION: British/American Host Families or Dormitory, as parents decide. For security reasons, it is strongly recommended that children below 12 years should live in a dormitory.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 20 May (The registration deadline must be respected, for the visa to be obtained in time)

PROGRAMME FEE : The fee for this programme depends on the number of weeks (2, 3, 4 weeks or more as decided by parents), the choice of accommodation (Host Family or Dormitory) and the age. The exact programme fee is published in March each year. Contact us.

In Britain the programme usually costs a minimum of 1.500.000 cfa (2 weeks in Host Family) and up to 2.500.000 cfa (4 weeks in Dormitory); this includes the air ticket (to and from), the English lessons, the accommodation, food, insurance, airport transfers, the excursions and all the activities during the holiday.

In the USA the minimum fee would be 2.300.000 cfa (2 weeks in Host Family) and 3.400.000 cfa (4 weeks in Dormitory); this includes the air ticket (to and from), the English lessons, the accommodation, food, insurance, airport transfers, the excursions and all the activities during the holiday.

POCKET MONEY : at the discretion of parents (approx 50.000 cfa per week recommended)

REGISTRATION FEE : 75.000fcfa to be paid to us at the time of registration, thereby starting the process.

LANGUAGE/TOURISM HOLIDAYS FOR ADULTS

Adults (Entrepreneurs, Company Managers, students…) can also undertake language/tourism holidays in Britain/USA to improve their English language skills and/or just spend an enjoyable tourist holiday. The programme for adults is available at any time of the year and the conditions are very much the same as those described above. Please contact us for further information. If you are not interested in learning English, we can arrange for a sightseeing and tourism programme including excursions, accommodation/meals, insurance, transport and airport transfers.

Adult accommodation options: HOTELS, HOST FAMILIES, RESIDENCES

Once you have received all the necessary information and have decided to register, this is the procedure to be followed:

1 – Fill out a registration form stating the choice of destination, the duration required, the required dates and the type of accommodation required. Return the form to us as soon as possible – BEFORE THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE – with the registration fee (75.000 fcfa)

2 – Establish a passport as son as possible, if necessary.

3 – We proceed with the pre-registration.

4 – You pay us the programme fee and we issue a receipt. We immediately obtain all letters of confirmation of enrolment and accommodation in Britain/USA.

5 – Provide all documents required by embassy for visa application (list below) – at least 6 WEEKS BEFORE DEPARTURE DATE .

6 – As son as the visa application file is complete, the applicant go to the British Embassy in Yaoundé (children accompanied by a parent), to submit the application and to obtain an appointment for a visa interview .

The complete application documents must be submitted and appointment taken at least 6 WEEKS BEFORE DEPARTURE. At the USA embassy in Yaoundé, appointments are booked by simply presenting the passport 6 weeks before departure.

N.B: Sometimes, when the visa application documents are entirely satisfactory, the interview is conducted and the visa is issued the same day the application is submitted, without any appointment. It is therefore necessary for the person traveling to be present at the embassy to submit the visa application in person .

7 – The applicant goes to the embassy on the interview day at the appointed interview time. Children are accompanied by a parent.

8 – After the interview, the visa is normally issued the same day. The student then makes final tavel preparations…etc.

ATTENTION!!!  : IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO RESPECT THE DEADLINES MENTIONED ABOVE, WITHOUT WHICH THE CANDIDATE RISKS NOT OBTAINING A VISA OR NOT HAVING A PLACE ON THE PROGRAMME AND/OR FLIGHT.

 THE ABOVE PROCEDURE ALSO APPLIES TO ADULTS.

N.B : We cannot guarantee 100% that visas will be obtained. The decision to issue a visa is taken by the Consul based on documents (especially financial) submitted and the visa interview.

In case of visa refusal , programme fees already paid will be refunded. The registration fee (75.000 fcfa) is not refundable.

 We do not produce fake documents !!! Any fake documents presented in the visa application will result in the visa being refused.
