TRANSLATION SERVICES     [Up]

 - Texts are classified under 3 categories depending on the level of difficulty: General, semi-technical and Technical. Translation Rates range between 10.000 cfa and 20.000 cfa per page depending on the type and degree of urgency. This does not include word processing and urgent translation supplement.

- The number of pages and the nature of text (technical or non-technical) for billing purposes will be determined by us after we have received the document. We provide a quotation once we have received the document. Any additions made after translation has started will result in a corresponding change on the final invoice amount to be paid. A standard page is no more than 275 words / about 27 lines.

- We are normally able to translate up to 10 pages per client per working day (Monday – Friday), counting from the day after we receive the document. Urgent translations are those requiring us to translate more than 10 (up to 15) pages per day or to work on non-working days (weekends and holidays). We charge an urgent translation supplement of about 20% of the rate applied. Discounts may be applied based on volume of work.

- We normally receive documents for translation and work in our premises. Alternatively, these can be sent to us by email. Once translated, jobs are normally returned already typed (word processed) and the client is automatically billed a small word processing fee. Documents sent to us in electronic form will be returned in the same format (Word, Excel, PDF…). We use a variety of specialised dictionaries, electronic tools and our wide experience to ensure appropriate terminology.

Cancellations made up to 24 hours after confirmation of order will incur payment of 50% of the total quotation amount. Any cancellations made more than 24 hours after confirmation of order will incur payment of full quotation amount. Orders MUST be confirmed in writing before we can proceed.

INTERPRETATION SERVICES

We are able to provide skilled interpreters for seminars, conferences and meetings in Cameroon and within the region including up to date equipment for simultaneous interpretation. Other options include “Whispering” and Conference Interpretation. Our interpreters are trained and experienced, and will cover both International and National seminars on a wide variety of subjects.

Interpretation rates are per day and depend on the venue, nature and duration of the event. The number of interpreters to cover the event depends on the number of participants/delegates expected and the number of languages to be used. Minimum rate per interpreter per day would be 275.000 cfa. We will gladly provide a quotation. As soon as the event is confirmed, we will provide further details to include resumes of participating interpreters.
